We'd love to meet you and tell you more about what God's doing among us.

We'd be thrilled to welcome you to one of our meetings in person! We meet at the Girvan Community Centre on a number of occasions during the week. Our main meetings are:

  • Tuesdays: We get together each Tuesday evening from 7.30pm until about 9.00pm for our main worship service. A typical service includes the reading and proclaiming of God's Word, congregational singing and an open time of prayer. The service is contemporary in style; dress is informal, and we worship God with a mix of modern music and established hymns. The Community Centre has comfortable chairs, and we enjoy tea and coffee together afterward. We do not take up an offering, though there is a basket at the entrance for those who wish to support the work. Our fellowship celebrates Communion once a month at this meeting; this is open to all who accept Jesus as their saviour and Lord.
  • Thursdays: A smaller meeting on Thursday evening, also from 7.30pm until 9.00pm, is focused on discipleship. This group examines the nature of God and His creation through the lens of Scripture, sharing life experience to get to grips with the implications for our lives. This is also a time when questions, doubts and concerns can be raised and discussed openly, in a supporting and non-judgmental environment.
  • Sundays: We also meet one Sunday evening each month, usually on the last Sunday of the month, but the dates are advertised at the Community Centre and other locations. These meetings each explore a key issue of modern life, aiming to demonstrate how Christian truth is both relevant to and desperately needed by our 21st-century world. This meeting is also informal in style, and tea, coffee and snacks are served afterwards.

We'd love to see you at any of these meetings. We are excited about what God is doing in Girvan - if you're a follower of Christ we'd love to share fellowship with you - if you don't know Him yet, we'd love to share our faith with you.
